The TRC is actively involved in the creation and presentation of exhibitions about different aspects of dress and textiles, from all over the world. Per 1 January 2024, five exhibition packages, including objects and written information material (but without showcases etc.) have been prepared that are on loan to interested and suitable museums or institutes. These exhibitions cover a minimum of 150 sq metres and can be expanded upon by the host museum/institute, with the help of the TRC. They are:

• TRC Exhibition Package: Vestments and Embroidery within the Syriac Orthodox Church
• TRC Exhibition Package: Embroidery from the Arab World
• TRC Exhibition Package: Flowing Robes: Dress and jewellery from the Arabian Peninsula
• TRC Exhibition Package: Central Asian Dress

In addition, separate exhibition packages, of different sizes, can be prepared at relatively short notice for interested parties. These packages are based on past exhibitions at the TRC. They can be displayed as provided by the TRC, or expanded upon by the host museum/institute, in consultation with the TRC. Single showcase displays:

• An Afghan khilat outfit
• Madame Nubia: leather skirts from Sudan
• Kimono Parts: the underpinning of a kimono
• Buzkashi: an Afghan ‘polo’ outfit for a man
• An abundantly decorated Jumlo dress from Northwest Pakistan

Smaller exhibitions (up to 50 square metres):

• Coptic monastic dress: Monastic dress for Coptic monks and nuns

Medium size exhibitions (between 50 and 100 square metres):

• Kangas: A garment for women from East Africa 
• A Well-Dressed Foot: footwear and accessories for the feet
• Colours from the Land of Frankincense: Omani dress for men and women

Large exhibitions (75 square metres or more):

• Covering the Moon: face veils from the Islamic World and beyond
• Sari Techniques: woven, printed and embroidered saris
• Beyond the Chador: Iranian urban and regional dress
• A Handful of Prayers: prayer beads from around the world
• Dutch Lace Caps: traditional lace caps from the Netherlands
• Colourful Afghanistan: urban and regional dress from Afghanistan
